Students will be taught directly by professional performers who are currently in West End shows. Allowing students the rare opportunity to learn from London's top artists, they will work on pieces from current and classic West End and Broadway shows including Matilda, Les Miserables, Wicked, Jersey Boys, School of Rock, Lion King and many more.
Incorporating performance basics of the three theatrical disciplines, singing, dance and acting. The week will give students the opportunity to develop these skills along with building teamwork capabilities and most importantly, confidence.
A typical day in a musical theatre workshop would consist of various elements over five hourly sessions where students would have the opportunity to hone their skills. After being split in to various age groups, they will work closely with the course tutors to create the group pieces to present in their final show at the end of the week.

Additionally, students who are studying their IB Diploma can benefit from the chance to obtain experience toward the “Creativity, action, service” section of their diplomas. With experience offered in design, technical and organisational aspects of the showcase week, students who are not taking part in the performance course will be encouraged to come and learn other aspects, being taught skills that will serve them greatly in the future. Out experienced IB teachers will be at hand to ensure that all students involved are competent with tasks allocated and have a professional, enriched experience.
